Rick
FROM HORROR TO HOPE: Written by the German Information Center. The book is free and can be obtained by emailing your request to: gic1@ix.netcom.com and ask them to send you a copy. Or write to them at German Information Center, 950 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10022-2781, (212) 888-9840. The book explores the Jewish life in Germany today and German-Israeli relations against the background of the rich contributions of Jews to German life and culture over the many centuries and the tragedy of the Holocaust.
LIBERATION WAS FOR OTHERS, Memoirs of a Gay Survivor
of the
Nazi Holocaust, by Pierre Seel. Da Capo Press, 233 Spring Street, New
York. 1997 (800) 221-9369. An easy readable story about a French
gay boy's experiences with Nazi persecution.
THE CRY OF THE MUTE CHILDREN: A Psychoanalytic
Perspective of the Second Generation of the Holocaust, by
Ileny Koger, New York University Press, 1-800-996-6987. It relates
a few anecdotal tales of patients with a heavy dose of analysis
lingo. If you are interested in this technique, you'll probably
understand the book. It was a bit over my head.
CHILDREN OF JOB -American Second-Generation Witnesses to the Holocaust: by Alan L. Berger, State University of New York Press, http://www.sunypress.edu. His approach is to review other books, and documentaries to draw conclusions about the world views of the second generation. It is a good place to start in order to read segments from what is currently printed.

The following were scanned from letters written by Howard Hurwitz under
several letterheads. He is the "Family Defense Council" and
the"International Committee for Holocaust Truth". I have written
responses to his obsessive anti-gay rhetoric, and I will post them with
his responses, if he ever responds.I apologize that the scanner is
a bit off center, but so is the contents...
